Six UK universities listed in the world’s top 20 rankings

The weather may not be the best and it doesn’t have the chilled out lifestyle of many other countries but there is one thing that the UK is pretty darn good at and that is education! For students looking to study overseas the UK is now one of the best nations in the world to offer a top notch university class education.

According to the QS World University Rankings there are now six British universities in the top 20, with four of those reaching the top ten; only the USA has more. In the top 50 there are eight UK universities and in the top 100 there are 18. Graduates from Oxford and Cambridge were also rated as the world’s most employable.

Studying abroad may be a scary thought but it offers a fantastic way to see the world and to embrace a new culture and learn a new language.
