Expat Events Coming Up in the Netherlands

Expat Events, a company which organises and hosts a range of fun social events for expats and international employees/companies in the Netherlands, has released a calendar of activities coming up in the months ahead.

So if you live in the Netherlands and are looking for a good opportunity to network and meet other expats, check out what’s on offer!

FED – Friday Expat Drink – 21st June

After a busy week at work there’s nothing better than chilling out with some friends over a drink or two, enjoying good food and great music.

And FED gives you all of this, plus the opportunity to make new expat friends.

Held at The Hague’s Restaurant Gember, FED kicks off at 18:00 and finishes in the early hours.

On arrival guests are given a free cocktail and free appetisers, just the thing to break the ice and help shyer expats socialise.

Groups of expats are very welcome, so you can go along with established friends, but as the event also features a special meet and greet game, it’s a brilliant opportunity for meeting new people.

eXperienz – 6th July

For nine years Expat Event’s main beach party was Sunsation, but for its tenth anniversary it decided to mix things up a bit and eXperienz was born.

Held in the Beach Club WIJ, expats from across the Netherlands are invited to party the day away, making the most of the sun, sea and sand while DJ’s and live musicians make sure there’s always something to dance to.

Beach Club WIJ, with its comfortable yet swanky interior, is considered to be the region’s best beach club, and is situated right next to the northern side of the harbour inlet.

As the dress code for this event is ‘white’ any clumsy people may want to avoid red wine!

Tickets cost €10 and are available until the 30th of June.

NK Beach Volleyball – 7th September

If you’re an Expat living and working in the Netherlands and would like to be involved in a fun sporting activity which aims to bring expats together, you might want to consider entering the NK Beach Volleyball event.

On September 7th Expats and young professionals from across the Netherlands are invited to The Hague Beach Stadium, Scheveningen – the nation’s biggest outdoor beach stadium and its volleyball capital.

As well as competing against other expats/young professionals in a volleyball tournament the day will involve a barbecue and networking party, giving all attendees the chance to network, share experiences and offer advice.
